Using the 32-key panel

1. Press a function-group key, use the up/down arrows to choose a function, then press ENTER.
2. Enter the prompted value and press ENTER to move to the next input. Results appear on the six-row LCD.
3. C clears the current entry. = evaluates arithmetic. CONV followed by a labeled key converts the working value.

For an example, select HDG/GS. Enter wind direction 270°, wind speed 20 kt, course 180° and TAS 185 kt, accepting each with ENTER. Groundspeed is about 183.9 kt, with rounded heading 186° and wind-correction angle 6°.

Open ? and Quick reference for the inputs, units, formula notes and read-only examples for all 24 functions. Additional tools in the options menu includes flight planning, aircraft profiles, conversions and saved calculations.

Subscription and 3-day trial

Full access uses one auto-renewing monthly subscription. The standard US price is US$3.99 per month. Your App Store region determines the actual local price shown before purchase.

Eligible new subscribers can receive a 3-day free trial. Apple determines eligibility. A trial starts only after you choose the offer and confirm in Apple's purchase screen; installing or opening the app does not start a purchase.

Unless canceled, the trial converts to the monthly subscription at the displayed price. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. To avoid a trial charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

Manage or cancel through Manage subscription in the app or Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Apple's Standard Terms of Use apply.

Restoring access

Use Restore purchases after reinstalling or moving to another device with the Apple Account used to subscribe. Be online while purchasing, restoring or refreshing subscription status.

If access remains locked, check that the subscription is active in Apple's settings, then reopen the app and try Restore purchases. A pending purchase needs Apple's confirmation before it can unlock access. Expired or revoked subscriptions do not provide access.

For Apple billing or refund requests, use Apple's purchase support. We cannot access your Apple Account or payment details.

Offline calculations and saved data

The calculation engine and quick reference are included in the app. Calculations can run offline while a valid StoreKit-verified subscription entitlement is available on your device. Purchase, restoration and subscription updates may need internet access; offline access is not a permanent replacement for an active subscription.

Inputs, plans, aircraft profiles, favorites and history are stored locally. Your flight data is not sent to a developer server. Read the Privacy Policy for Apple purchases, local storage and support messages.

Display, clocks and loading

The virtual LCD turns off after four minutes without a key press, extended to 30 minutes while a countdown is running. Clocks and timer continue. Press the power key to return to the main panel. Keep screen awake overrides the app's inactivity timeout.

TIMER opens the timer and starts/stops it; ± changes its direction. CLOCK shows ZULU, HOME and LOCAL. These are manual flight-computer clocks, not an official time-synchronization service.

WT/ARM starts a new problem with reduction factor 1; WT/MOM starts with 100. Confirm the factor for your data. ENTER adds the next load; signed entries remove loads. C and power preserve totals. Use New weight and balance problem in the options menu to start again.

Planning and training

Digital Flight Computer is an independent planning and training aid. Cross-check results against approved aircraft documentation, current official information and your own calculations before operational use. Sample aircraft data is fictional and unverified.

The app is not affiliated with a hardware manufacturer and does not claim flight certification, examination eligibility or identical proprietary firmware behavior.
